The most productive sleeping & wake-up time

For a while since I quit the company and became freelance, there was a time when I was in trouble because I could not make the rhythm of life well.

I write the results of sleeping time and waking time which was the highest productivity that I verified on my own then.

In conclusion, for me.
The best is getting up at 4AM and going bed 10PM.

Below is the process leading to that conclusion.

Completely Free Style

The first thing I tried is a style that sleeps only when it gets sleepy.
The result is always too sleepy.
When I went to bed I set the alarm 6 or 7 hours after, but I could not wake up comfortably at that time.
Because I would not have any problem, if I over slept.
And it is difficult to make plans for my project with it.
Since it is not clear how long it is going to get up and sleeping from now, it is difficult to predict when the work I’m doing will end around.
Actually it may be a cycle that is not the most suitable for freelance surprisingly.

Night Style

A pattern of getting up at 3PM in the day and going to bed 9AM  in the morning.
In result, I have been tired all the time in a day.
In fact, around 12 o’clock in the afternoon when I am sleeping, surprisingly outside is noisy.
And postman rings the doorbell frequently.
Moreover, since it’s basically impossible to designate the time of postal items coming in Germany, the postman will come around  from 11 to 2 in the day.
Also since I had to going my errand like going supermarket, bank and so on before I start work, it will be late to start working.

 

General Morning Style

I thought that it will result here again, the so-called ordinary cycle.
Sleeping at 12PM at night and getting up at 7AM.
But the problem. I can not get up at all.
When I was a company employee I was forced to get up because I have to go my company.

But now nobody will get angry if I oversleep.
When I have a client work, a deadline will occur, so I’m going to get up and work.
But I’m not doing a work that always has a deadline.
As a result I overslept, I wake up before noon.

Moreover, because I slept too much that night, I could not sleep at next night, sometimes it leads to transitioning to night type. It’s worse case.
And another problem, this life pattern made me impossible to sleep in gradually for some reason.

Perhaps because my chance to sleep in would  be over.

Extreme Morning Style

As I wrote before, going bed at 10 PM  and waking up at 4 AM.
First of all, I can wake up comfortably for some reason.
Even if I set the alarm at 4AM, I sometimes wake up before then.
And wondering, I mostly won’t be sleepy during the day.
Although I only read it on the internet, this time zone is called golden time and seems to be the best sleep quality time.
And If I go to bed around 10 PM, I will rarely be in a trouble to sleep.

Then, after getting up and drinking coffee, I can start my production right away.
Around the afternoon when the outside is getting noisy, most of my work I have to do today is finished, so the happiness is also high.

The only problem is that you have to sacrifice some degree of social relationship.
When you have dinner with your friends, it is still common to meet at 9 or 10 PM.

It might not be suitable for those who take importance to social life than anything, and their works are also taken from there.

For me it’s not problem, since I’m not like that type of person. Moreover I would like to be alone as much as possible.
