When you select the sample from the huge sample pack, it sometimes takes more time than you make it by yourself.
I found amazing software in that case.
Sorry it’s only for Mac.
In the first place, when I wrote about iTune composing method, I suggested that I’m using the MAXMSP patch which is not possible to distribute.
Then I wanted to find the software that everyone can use easily.
And I found it.
This time I use Auto Keyboard from Murgaa.
You can download it here. http://www.murgaa.com
This software allows you to repeat pressing the key you specified for every time you specified.
It’s possible to use all the keys on Macintosh.
The way to use it is firstly assigning the key you want to repeat on “Key to Press Automatically”.
Next, enter the number of time you want to repeat on Min Delay and Max Delay.
(If you enter different time on them, the repeat time will randomly vary between them.
So, when you use it on computer music, normally they are supposed to be the same.)
And enter the number how many times it should repeat.
If you enter 0 here, it keeps repeating until you push “Stop”.
Shortcut Key is the key you want to use as a trigger of repeating.
No problem, if you don’t select any here too.
For instance here, with Ableton LIVE, I automate the preview the audio staffs from sample browser.
Now BPM 100, I want to change the sound after every 1bar, then enter 2400ms.
(60/BPM=length of a quarter note)
This time I want to find the best sample from the sample pack, then I specified down arrow key.
Then it starts preview next to next after every 1 bar from the one I clicked.
Since it operates only for the active window, you cannot work other things on the computer while it works.
And in the website before, there is also AutoClicker.
It allows you to repeat clicking the point your pointer is located.
You can change the preset of the plugin which is not possible to change only by the key pressing.
