When you are making a bass part, you will have the situation where a certain pitch is large and another certain is small.
This is not the problem of your instrument or plugin but the situation of your room’s wall is making.
To keep mind this give you big advantage to make bass phrases and to mix low part.
Unevenness of bass happen depending on the listing position
So in result, what happen?
Depending on the position you work, there are frequencies that you can hear loud and frequencies little.
This varies depends on the shape you the room and the distance from the wall.
Thus of course, model of the speakers, location where the speakers are where you are.
The important thing is to memorize the characteristic of the position you work everyday.

In this video, the sine wave rises from note A(28hz) to note A(220hz) by semitone.

*In my case, G#103.8hz and D#155.5Hz are getting louder.
Then I take care of these sound. Or I avoid to make Ab song in my room as long as it’s possible.
If you rearranged your room or changed the location of the speakers, you should check this again.
Why this happen?
The air resonates starting from the two opposite walls.
The specific frequency wave will be generated depending on the distance between the walls.
And the twice frequency wave also will be generated. It’s overtone.
Each the wave has most swayed point (Anti node) and no sawing point (Node).
When your ears are in the Antinode, that frequency sounds louder.
Conversely, in Node, sounds smaller.
The reason why it matters only on low frequency is if the sounds rise to high, each Antinodes become smaller.
In theory, this happens at all directions in which the walls face each other.
Generally, there are 3 directions since the room is a cube.
But in reality, because of furniture, material of the wall and canceling with each direction, the frequencies that can be a problem will less.
Then in result, you will find 2 or 3 frequencies which sound too louder or too quiet.
